Our family business
Melvin and I started our business in 2016. We share not only a beautiful family but a love of craft and creativity. I love working with florals and Melvin is a natural working with wood.
Originally called 'Craft Shapes Ireland', we specialised in creating shapes and templates for crafters all over Ireland. Now called 'Duffy & Porter Handcrafted Gifts', it's a statement to our quality... we put our name to everything we make.
Detail Orientated
From day one our aim is to create that extra special gift that customers were looking for, a gift that lets the giftee know that they have been thought of, that the gift they have received was not one bought on a whim, that it was chosen by you especially for them. We know we can really provide you with the “ wow” response from your loved one and we are so proud of our products it was only right that we put out names on them… Welcome to our business..welcome to “Duffy and Porter Hand Crafted gifts”
Hand Finished
In 2022 we decided to change our company name to “Duffy and Porter, Handcrafted Gifts”. As an Irish manufacturer our name had to emphasise the personalised bespoke nature of our products, something to reassure our customers that buying from us means that you are not getting a mass produced product but. Instead, you are getting a gift for all time, a gift that was developed with real thought put in to it. A gift that is practical as well as something that will last through time, it may even become a family heirloom! (wow now isn’t that the dream!)
Highest Quality
Once we make a decision to produce a new product it has to pass the Duffy & Porter criteria test. The material has to be of the highest quality, our products are made to last. We take pride in what we do, quality has been the foundation of our business. One of the most enjoyable parts about what we do is when a customer comes back and purchases other products. We have managed to achieve this over and over again, repeat purchases are testament to the time and dedication we put into each and every single item we make.
