Our founder, Maria, was born and raised in Dunleer, Co. Louth, right in the heart of Brigid’s country. Growing up surrounded by the legends of Brigid’s fierce independence and her "miracle well" in Dunleer, Maria learned early on that Brigid wasn't just a saint of the past; she was the original trailblazer. She was a woman of action, a protector of the hearth, and the ultimate example of what it means to "give it socks."
