At Duffy and Porter we adore a gift that will last the ages, a sustainable gift which will be treasured for a lifetime

Our frame collection is no different, they are created in house and mounted in Irish made solid wood frames. They are encased in a Glass front. Measuring approx 235x235mm they are ideal for hanging or sitting simply on a shelf.

This frame really is special and if I may, the pictures don't do it justice. The piece is set on a wooden backdrop with roses as its background it is so subtle it only acts to enhance the piece without taking away for the centre focus. The focal point of the piece is the ceramic tile carefully mounted to take centre stage. The tile is printed with a special poem that has given Maria great comfort when thinking of her own Mother in Heaven.

Lord, please pick a bunch for me.

Place them in my Mother's arms

and tell her they're from me.

Tell her that I love her and miss her,

and when she turns to smile,

place a kiss upon her cheek

and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,

I do it every day,

but there's an ache within my heart

that will never go away.
